Course Description:

In Road to Wellness Part 2, students will continue to study a variety of topics with factors related to nutrition and physical fitness. Students will delve further into basic nutrition principles, the digestive system, practicing nutrition, the new dietary guidelines, label reading, and food safety. Topics such as the foundation of physical fitness, exercise guidelines, and sports nutrition are discussed in more detail. The conclusion of this course will continue to motivate students to make healthy lifestyle choices.

It is recommended that students complete Road to Wellness Part 1 or equivalent course work before enrolling in this course.
