Latin 2 Part 2
Course Description:
In Latin II Part 2, students will continue learning more advanced aspects of Latin grammar. Students will be introduced to more adverbs, along with the irregular verbs “nolo,” “malo,” and “volo.” The structure of questions will be discussed, as will the more complex uses of the dative case. Students will continue to master previously learned material while building their Latin vocabularies and dissecting complex Latin sentences. Before enrolling in Latin II Part 2, students should have successfully completed Latin II Part 1 or equivalent course work. These courses include auditory comprehension assessments that require students to listen to audio files and to record themselves speaking. For these courses, it is essential that students have either a headset equipped with a microphone or access to an internal microphone within their computers.
