Course Description:
Students use animation techniques to articulate and communicate sales reports, point of purchase displays, an information video,?cartoon or a process simulation. Using computer animation software, students work with timing effects, from manipulation, color?cycling, film loops, palette transitions, sound files and other animation components.
This course is focused on using the 3D Modeling software Autodesk 3DS Max. 3DS Max is an industry standard software that is used in dozens upon dozens of companies around the world, and with the software you can create game assets, architectural visualization, and animations. You will create a portfolio including projects and material you completed in class. Along with 3ds Max, we will be touching on a couple other software programs.
After completing this course you may be eligible to receive college credit at Ferris State University in their Digital Animation and Game Design Program (DAGD 100). Please contact Protégé Game Studios for more information.
