Personal Fitness (25-26 Sem 2)
Course Description:
This course is designed to assist students in developing motor skills, knowledge, and behaviors for healthy active living, physical fitness, self-efficacy, and emotional intelligence. Topics covered in this course include cardiovascular fitness, muscular fitness, flexibility, body composition, nutrition, and both mental and emotional wellness. Additionally, students will assess their own levels of fitness, set fitness goals, and learn effective strategies for achieving those goals. Throughout the course, students will keep a fitness journal and calendar to track their progress toward their goals.

Additional Cost Description:
Students must supply their own fitness equipment, including tools for measuring distance (such as a meter stick or tape measure), time (such as a stopwatch or watch), and weight (such as a scale), along with training aids for resistance exercises. Examples of household items that can serve these purposes are provided in the lesson instructions.
