Course Description:

Course Description This AP study of European history since 1300 introduces students to economic, cultural, social and political developments. These developments played a fundamental role in shaping the world in which they live. Second Semester will introduce students to the birth of modern political thought, Great Depression and World War II. They will study the Cold War and the collapse of communism and wrap up with the dawn of the 21st Century. Students will complete a project at the end of each unit with the final project being a critical analysis.
