3D Game Animation – Career Tech w/Certification FY
Course Description:
This is a full year "Career Tech" course version of our 3D Video Game Modeling and Animation classes that teach 3D Modeling, Animation, and Game Development including learning to create 3D video game assets, architectural visualizations, animations and special effects. The student successfully passing this course will have the opportunity to take and pass an industry certification at the end of this course. Only available for High School students.
Students will use 3D animation techniques to articulate and communicate using timing effects, color cycling, film loops, palette transitions, sound files and other animation components.
This course is focused on using the 3D Modeling and Animation software Autodesk Maya which is an industry standard that is used by companies around the world. You will create a portfolio including projects and material you complete in this course.
If you are qualified, you may be eligible to receive up to 6 college credits at Ferris State University in their Digital Animation and Game Design Program (DAGD). Please contact Protege Game Studios for more information.
